Cancellations and Missed Appointments

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or change your appointment  except in cases of illness, true and unavoidable emergency, or inclement weather.  If you need to cancel, please do so through your Jane profile to ensure we receive your cancellation notification with sufficient notice and avoid being charged for your session. Phone messages and emails for cancellations that are  left on weekends, holiday's, and outside of business hours may not be received with sufficient notice and will  be subject to a charge for the session so  please cancel through your JANE PROFILE. 


If you are feeling unwell please cancel your appointment through your Jane profile  with as much notice as possible and reschedule when you are symptom free and feeling well. Ensure you select the accurate reason for cancelling.  Our late cancellation fee will be waived in the event that you wake up feeling unwell on the day of your appointment and  cancel by 7 am ON-LINE through JANE.


We are not permitted to bill your insurer for missed appointments or late cancellations.



Your appointment time

Appointments conclude at the scheduled time even if you arrive late and full payment for your session will be expected. Appointment time includes interview, assessment, consents, treatment, and instructions for home care.  

Securing appointments

A credit card is required to reserve all appointments and will be stored encrypted and secure in your Jane on-line profile. This system has the same security level as on-line banking and we cannot access your credit card number after it is stored. Your credit card will only be charged the treatment fee if the required amount of notice for cancellations or changes is not provided as per our cancellation and missed appointment policy.

Clinic etiquette

~ In an effort to provide a tranquil environment for all of our patients receiving treatments  we ask that you use a quiet voice throughout the clinic during your visit. Please also refrain from talking on your cell phone while in the clinic and  put your ringer on silence mode. 


~ Please arrive unaccompanied to your appointment as we have limited seating in our waiting room.


~ As much as we love toddlers and babies, we are unable to accommodate them in treatment or in the waiting area as sound transfer has the potential to disrupt treatments that are in session.
